"My
name is Peter and I joined the Finer English Team in October
2008. I'm originally from Canada but my parents are both
German. I grew up speaking German at home and English at school;
this has given me a unique perspective on the challenges and rewards of
learning another language.
As
an undergraduate, I studied German Literature and History at the
University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. After
completing my B.A., I accepted a position teaching English as a
Second Language (ESL) in South Korea, where I gained over six
years of experience teaching ESL to students of all ages and
ability levels.
I
have always enjoyed teaching English and am very glad to be here in
Kassel teaching for Finer English. The city of Kassel has the
convenience and culture of a big city but the comfort of a small
town. When I have free time I enjoy reading, movies, walking and
taking in Kassel's museums, shops and sights with my wife."
