"My
name is Julie and I joined the Finer English
Team in July 2009. I am from Indiana in the United States although
originally from Kentucky. Although Kassel is new
to me, I have always considered Germany a
second home. My experience started in high school when I received a
study abroad scholarship and again study abroad experience at the
Universität
Heidelberg and Mannheim. My experience further developed through a
variety of jobs in the field of
business
sales and finance, instructing English abroad in South Korea for two
years and
domestically at the university in my hometown, along with personal
travel; all which
have given me a unique inside perspective and many cultural aspects. As
a result of my previous experiences, the skills I
obtained have aided me in providing a strong curriculum with enthusiasm
and
dedication.
I believe it takes more than a single individual
to make a difference in the lives of others and Finer English gives
great
support to ensure quality and appropriateness to the Language Team and
their
clients. Through this support, I have learned the value of being a team
player
and the importance of communicating with colleagues and administrators,
so that
I will be able to provide the best information possible for future or
continuing English learners. I take
great pride in being a leader and an instructor, and feel my strengths
and
talents are well utilized in this stimulating career with Finer English. In my free time, I enjoy traveling as much as
possible and seeing different sites of which there are plenty near or
